VeloxBook
The VeloxBook's coverage is World Wide (excluding the states where is forbidden to use measuring speed's advices) and is compatible with the states where right-hand drive is in use and those where the drive is on the left. The cataloged informations are available for all users in the form of VeloxBook's reporting station, fixed or mobile, a speed detector, so the driver can quickly adjust your speed to the allowable limit.
At each crossing of a location already known every user is asked to confirm the location or to report the absence. The wealth of informations is available to the users and it's more complete if more users collaborate to provide the location of fixed or mobile stations. The VeloxBook's goal is to provide users with the most current information, it'd be possible if users will be careful to update the information through the use of VeloxBook. VeloxBook also manages the information regarding the accidents location and queues caused by traffic, this information is valid just for a time related to the duration of the problem's cause the delays. The VeloxBook's logic provides, for each new position reporting, its verification and for each location cancelled the verification by users. Some location categories, such as mobile speed cameras, are valid notwithstanding any cancellation of the position; in these case the time is taken consideration the last positive mark. In every report of a new station is necessary to report the direction along which the roadway is located, press the icon located on the right of the interface if the station detects vehicles traveling through the right side of the road, press the icon located on the left of the interface if the vehicles traveling through the left side of the road. This operation mode is independent by the user drive if is on the right or left; this is possible if in the setup program has been correctly chosen the right-hand drive and right.
Fix Safety Cameras
are all the speed control locations that does not require the presence of an operator and have a fixed location; this category does not have a validity time.
Mobile Safety Cameras
are all the speed control locations that require the presence of an operator and can be transported, then relocate to other positions; this category has a validity time.
Tutor
are all the stations to detect the average speed along an highway, these stations detect the time of crossing to a station and then compute the average speed when the vehicle crossed the latter position, along the stretch of road in use; this category does not have a validity time.
Traffic
are all the users report as the location of a road section affected by an intensification of traffic/queues; this category has a validity time.
Accident
are all the users report as the location of a road accident; this category has a validity time.
Photored
they are all related position of the traffic lights crossing intersections detection systems; this category does not have a validity time
Operation
Operatively to report a new location is enought to click the appropriate button on the right side of the interface relative of detection, to avoid false signals the program requires to re-click the same button for confirmation, pressing any other key erase the click above. Regarding the location confirmation of a station, when the program ask a crossing confirm, as well as an acoustic signal the program generate 2 buttons, to confirm (Yes button) or to not confirm (No button) but in any case, if you want to confirm the position is simply to wait 10 seconds and the program automatically confirms the position, the not confirmation is explicitly doing by pressing No button.
Alerts
The program alerts the user in different forms and modes, the radar range is 15 km and his visibility from 65° to 65° left to right of vehicle direction. As soon as the program detects at least one location in its range, drawing their position relative to the vehicle direction, indicates the type of the nearest station and its distance from the vehicle. When the distance is less than 2 km the program will mark it with the sound of an horn, and when the distance is less than 1.5 km the program will mark it with the "sonar" sound and with flashing lights every 2 seconds until the end, when the distance is less than 500 m, is signaled by the sound of a siren.
Setup
In the setup page you can choose if the vehicle drive is on the right or on left, the distance unit, the type of positions you are interested and the last option, enabling sounds.
The button on the top right allows to access an online help downloaded directly from the network.
